St. John Catholic Church in Enterprise, Alabama determined the need for a website. Due to the numerous military sevices men that are stationed at the neighboring Ft. Rucker, which is the center of Army Aviation, the primary need was creating a place for those service men and women to find information about the church. A secondary need was creating an online calendar that can easily be maintained by volunteer parishioners.So on a very limited budget with very limited resources, the idea to expand upon an inexpensive website manager through Webhost4Life became the best alternative.
Through proper preplanning, and some additional on the fly changes and additions, stjohnenterprise.org was launched.
With some additional training for the volunteers at St. John, now more than 98% of the site can be managed internally, keeping costs to a minimum.
